Details about the rental process

After your booking, you will receive the filled contract to be signed and returned by email to: info @ for-rent-leuven.com
Rental Price includes: Monthly rent + €60 utility advance. Rate depends on the selected rental formula (12 months or less). Select the correct rental formula in the booking form on the right hand.
Occupancy: Max. 1 person.
Duration: Minimum stay according to the chosen rental formula. Start date as per indicated on the listing. Monthly rentals only.
Future Rent Payments: By bank transfer to the account listed in your contract.
Security Deposit: Equal to two months’ rent for stays longer than 3 months. Payable by bank transfer before key handover to the account listed in your contract.
Inventory Check: Mandatory for stays 2 months or longer, performed by an independent expert (IFIRMA).
City Tax: Charged by Stad Leuven through the landlord, but fully waived or reduced to student rate if you provide the correct documents in time.
Cancellation: See contractual terms Art. 12.

° Booking confirmation procedure
⚠ A booking without payment does not guarantee availability. We cannot block studios without confirmed payment. Online booking payments get priority over bank transfers. Sending signed contracts but delaying bank transfers does not guarantee the preferred studio being reserved.

1. Read the rental contract and house rules.
2. Confirm your personal details in the booking request form on the right hand.
3. Accept the contract and house rules by typing YES.
4. Online payment: the specific studio of your choice is booked immediately or send the bank transfer proof by email, you will receive the contract within 24h.
Without online payment: your request will be processed within 48h to start the confirmation procedure.
5. The studio is blocked only after payment is received:
- Online payments block your preferred studio immediately.
- Bank transfers block your preferred studio only once the payment is registered or a valid proof of transfer is received.
- Any bank, online or international transfer fees are always at the tenant’s expense.
6. All further communication follows by email
7. You will receive your contract by email; sign and return it by email to receive the countersigned copy.

° What happens after your booking confirmation
Your booking is binding once you accept and confirmed the conditions.
You will receive the digital contract for administrative purposes. A template copy of the contract is available above.
2 weeks before arrival: instructions for check-in, place inventory, deposit payment, and practical info for stay will be sent by email.
