Details about the rental process

After your booking, you will receive the filled contract within 24h. Please sign and return it by email to: info@for-rent-leuven.com
Rental Price: Monthly rent + €50 utility advance. Rental price depends on the selected rental formula (12 months or less). Select the correct rental formula in the booking form.
Occupancy: Max. 1 person.
Duration: Minimum stay according to the chosen rental formula. Start date as per indicated on the listing. If you have a more specific end date, indicate it in the booking form.
Future Rent Payments: By bank transfer to the account listed in your contract.
Security Deposit: Equal to two months’ rent for stays longer than 3 months. Payable by bank transfer before key handover to the account listed in your contract.
Inventory Check: Mandatory for stays from 2 months, performed by IFIRMA (independent expert).
City Tax: Charged by Stad Leuven through the landlord, but fully waived or reduced if you upload the correct documents on time.
Cancellation: See contractual terms Art. 12.

° Booking confirmation procedure
⚠ A booking without payment does not guarantee availability. We do not reserve studios without confirmed payment. Online payments always get priority over bank transfers. Delaying bank transfer or signed contracts does not guarantee the preferred studio being reserved.

1. Read the rental contract and house rules.
2. Confirm your personal details in the form.
3. Accept the contract and house rules by typing YES.
4. Pay the first month’s rent via the booking platform.
5. The studio is blocked only after payment is received:
- Online payments block your preferred studio immediately.
- Bank transfers block your preferred studio only once the payment is registered or a valid proof of transfer is received.
- Any bank or international transfer fees are at the tenant’s expense.
6. All further communication follows by email
7. You will receive your contract by email; sign and return it by email to receive the countersigned copy.

° What happens after your booking confirmation
Your booking is binding once you accept the conditions and confirmed.
You will receive the digital contract for administrative purposes.
2 weeks before arrival: instructions for check-in, place inventory, deposit payment, and practical info for stay.
